◇ 英國 CPS (皇家檢控署) 的聲明 －
"We can today confirm that we have advised the Metropolitan police service that the actor Christian Bale should not face any charges following an incident which occurred in relation to his mother and sister at the Dorchester hotel on July 21st this year"
我們今天可以確認，我們曾向倫敦警方作出「演員 Christian Bale 不該就本年度 7 月 21 日於 Dorchester hotel 所發生，牽涉其母姐在內的事件而被起訴」的指示
"Whilst the CPS treats all incidents which take place in a domestic context seriously, it is important that the views of complainants are also taken into account when making decisions in such case"
盡管 CPS 認真看待所有家庭糾紛，但就案件作出決定時，一併考慮原告人的觀點是很重要的 (是在暗示家人想報復／以此作脅的心態?)
"Taking all the factors into consideration, the decision has been taken that there is insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction, and accordingly the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale."
考慮到所以因素，我們得出「沒有足夠證據定罪」的結論
因此通知警方不用再對 Mr. Bale 採取進一步行動

"On the advice of the Crown Prosecution Service, we shall be taking no further action. We will not be commenting further."

Mr. Bale, who always denied the allegations made against him, is relieved that this issue has been resolved and hopes to put the matter firmly behind him.
Contrary to various press reports Mr. Bale has not been cautioned or charged at all.

Last week there were reports that Justice League of America is finally moving forward. Guess what - that's not what we heard. IESB found out the complete opposite from various sources at WB --- the movie will not move forward in its current incarnation and a lot has to do with the success of The Dark Knight. Warner Bros. is not willing to risk pissing off Christopher Nolan or Christian Bale and their intent would be to move forward with a third Batman film instead of introducing another Batman in a JLA film.
